Emma Williamson is in her fourth year at McGill studying Honours English Literature and minoring in History and World Cinemas with a passion for marketing and writing about global business. A retired international ski racer and varsity athlete, Emma looks forward to overseeing MBR’s publication this year and hopes to establish a stronger, multi-faceted presence for MBR, and the wide ranging commercial awareness it provides, at McGill. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in corporate law or sports marketing.

Julia Formejster is a Joint Honours in Economics and Finance student, graduating in December 2023. In her time as Co-president, Julia hopes to make the most of her experience in macroeconomics and financial analysis to ensure rigorous reporting on global economic trends. After graduating, she hopes to move on to working in private equity or investment banking.

Layss Majed was born and raised in Dubai, and is going into his third year at Desautels with a double concentration in finance and business analytics. With previous experience at a blockchain consultancy and an early stage VC, he joined MBR in 2022 as Co-Head of the Innovative Technology section. Layss enjoys product management, working with tech startups, and researching different crypto use cases.
